Nice recommendation...quick read of ljokerl's review on theheadphonelist.com confirmed it. Good price and they have an option for a round cord w/mic for $5 more...which is perfect since I'll be using it with my phone.

It looks like it's the number of tips and the cable that's the difference:
HA-FX1100 has 6N OFC and HA-FX850 has unspecified OFC.

I think 808 got it right. I should have my 1100 in a few hours and do an unboxing vid tonight. Congrats on the winnings. Money carries germs though so get rid of it and get some clean shiny new IEM to replace that dirty paper.
