Sometimes it's crazy to me to think that I spent so much money on on-ear headphones and electrostatics, got rid of it all to go in on IEMs and i've never enjoyed headphones this much?

Is it really worth upgrading the ASG 2.5's cable? I've heard some headphones where recabling made them entirely new phones and some where recabling did nothing noticable.

Picked up a black ASG 2.5. It will be up against the Future Sonics G10.

I love FS but the 2.5 will destroy the G10.

the 2.5 is great with stock cables but with Silver upgrade bass goes deeper and mids and treble have more space.

Ha If I didnt have three 2.5s I would have bought three of them right now.Plus the Harmony is a great versitile iem.

I think in the amount of time it would take me to swap the cables out I'd forget what it sounded like to begin with

. Still, like with those Sony cables I think there are a lot of good non-audio reasons to 'upgrade' a cable. Just ordered a Linum cable for my Earsonics so I guess I'll find out, though the purchase was mainly for comfort.
