I found it that my grados don't hold that well on my head... when I make them clamp more then my ear wold hurt, when I don't clamp them that hard they are pretty comfortable but they fall off easily as i mostly look down when Im walking. Of course this is beucase of there on ear design when I use something like the G pad they don't fall of.
I'm using the L pads with the 225x's and they stay put and are comfortable.

.... or die trying .... 🤪
People who like Grado (or just headfi people) are really nice and funny 😀. I never received so many likes and comments on other forums.

A nice corner of head-if indeed — cheers!

As a Grado noob (1 month old now) I'll say I find this thread to be really friendly.

I've been using my SR225x's when I take a walk. What a nice treat.
For me a great pleasure of the current age is that we can enjoy a walk and listen to music in superb quality. I love to go for walks in my local park with my iFi Audio iDSD Gryphon and my Austrian Audio Hi-X60 cans. I haven't used my new Grado SR325X cans for a number of reasons actually although I might start doing so when the spring comes along here in the UK. In the summer I will use my Fiio FH7 IEMs, because cans in the summer are too much heat for the ears :gs1000smile: .

Great choice! I very much recomend Prezemyslav and his Nyczaj pads they are very comfy and boost the bass which many grados lack! Well currently i don't have a stack but don't need a DAC/AMP for grados as they are very easy to drive something like the Apple USB-C to 3.5mm adapter can do quite well (it is only 10$) but you 100% could run grados with a DAC/AMP setup and it will make them sound better but it's not going to be a huge difference.

I recently added a Grado PS1000e to my stable! I'm looking for a portable amp and have read favorable reviews of the Woo Audio WA11 - has anyone used this amp? Or maybe the Woo Audio WA8?

The WA8 is one of my go to amps. Synergy with the GS1000X is why I bought the Grados. Nice extended low end. The mids are near perfect. Treble is crisp but not fatiguing. The typical holographic tube soundstage is spot on with the Grados. I highly recommend the WA8.

This is basically the only thread I read regularly on head-fi. Even though it makes my wallet hurt, cause I can’t stop buying Grados. 😂
.... better put this on, then:
