Yes. Beyer perforated. I think @TheMiddleSky say that the Beyer Perforated is closer to the G pads while the Beyer full leather is closer to the stock F pads.
The adapter is a bit loose but it won't fall off. It's quite secure. Once on the head, it's very comfortable.
It's easy to start a thread. Go ahead. It's quite Darwinian here. If it succeeds you will be hailed as an hero should be. If however it fails and withers only to die on the vine, then you must retreat to the west, only to be remembered in the sad laments of your kinfolk.**
Whenever I need a comforting sound, I reach for the 325x with ZMF pads. You will not hear a headphone with so much air and yet have a tint of warmth and bass that pulsates through your internal organs.

RS-1x with XLR amplifier-end termination (post #60,463) has arrived and has undergone ~50 hours of break-in. Even at this stage, with Liquid Platinum (RCA ‘clear top’ 12AU7s), RS-1x is breathtaking. This headphone / amp pairing is celestial.
[Besides the optimisation for balanced operation by LP, I cannot help but think that the one-piece construct of the XLR plug (versus the two-piece 3.5mm/6.3mm TRS plug) is better for the sound.]
I think it’s because so many people own multiple Grados and many questions apply to more than one model - so they would be posting the same question in multiple threads.
It might work to have a “Grado Pads” thread and an “Amps for Grados” thread.
Low-end/bass is improving there are those "peaks" mentioned earlier now to be heard in the low-end/bass/drum kicks...
Everything is settling down/falling into place where it is destined to be (overall sound presentation)...
