Here is what I could get from the comments, lots of blanks. If you feel strongly about one of these in less than five words why, that would be best.CD2C9E3D-DAB2-4C64-84D2-3C6B9EBF0604.jpeg

This sounds like fun LMAO. I'll do the Dorado 2020 as it's presently my favorite IEM.

Good: Dominant, disciplined bass, natural midrange
Bad: Muddy basshead mess*

*I don't actually think that but it is a criticism that has been made.

if you like Tool / Lateralus , i think your next stop should be those prog rock gents , their 2001-2003 live/concert recordings are head-crushing stuff and remind me a lot of a more complex/proggy Tool sound/vibe

Actually , Tool bow down to them and consider them a major influence on their sound (they also took them as support group on their summer 2001 US Lateralus tour , and at some point Maynard comes out and says 'we should be opening for them, actually')

Slipknot are just too much post-teenage angst (for me , at least) - if you like what you see and want something more, then head over https://www.dgmlive.com/tours?year=2003&liveshow=on and check out those 2003 KC shows for sale

Yes love this since it came out. Prog I have some gaps to what I have heard, recent Prog post 2005 newer acts. My favorite Crimson is Larks and Red, but love them all, least favorite is Court the first one. Tool they just keep getting better too bad so many years between releases.

I'm still having a hard time connecting the dots between King Crimson and Tool though (fantastic bands) aside the use of complex polymeters, along with some heavy, heavy guitars. I know Tool's drummer is fan of KC's Discpine album.

The combo of Chancellor+Carey is nuts, but Wetton and Bruford were considered as the "Flying Brick Wall" of Prog. No one today is even doing what what they were doing in the mid 70s, which is play their assess of, improvising tunes half the time during live gigs.

EE Odin… Maxed Out U12t? I don’t think I could disagree more with that. 😂
That is what some one said, there are a lot of Odin lovers, not really sure anyone hates it but someone commented so I added it. For me it was nice but did not engage me, would not call it hate at least not from me. I fall more on the engage spectrum rather than the clinical one. Personally I do not think Odin or U12T belong on this list as no color better describes them to me. This is an attempt to find the engaging IEMs with color and help people find the color they are looking for. I think people really benefit when they find their personal elixir.

There are different kinds of Prog.

Been waiting for this one for a while:

Alright, I love everything in the box except for the cable: it is stiff and hard to straighten out. The other Oslo cables I have don’t have this issue, wonder why they went with such a stiff cable.

So pretty, shame about the cable, cannot wait to here your impressions on sound. I can see this one as one I would like to add.

Boxed Sets of my favorite Crimson era, hours and hours of live gigs along with other remasters by Steven Wilson. Highly, highly recommended if you love the studio albums, which I felt were just the tip of the iceberg.

Look forward to your sound impressions! Sadly it's one of the most unappealing, dull-looking IEMs I've seen in a long time. Reminds me of industrial 1970s low cost housing architecture for some reason. Hope it sounds better than it looks.

Just my initial sound impressions: this is a warmer version of the Final A8000 (from memory). If you’ve tried the A8000 and liked it but could use more warmth, the SK is probably a good choice. If you absolutely hated the A8000, I can’t imagine you liking the SK that much anyways.

Man the photos I took don’t do them much justice. They look much much better in person.

Yep. I wonder if that’s because of the DD implementation.
Nah, it’s definitely the tuning overall. The bass is actually probably where the U12t and the ODIN are most alike; more sub-bass than mid-bass. But, in the midrange, the U12t is a lot more robust and less upper-mid-focused than the ODIN. And, up high, it’s got a drier, airier transient compared to the ODIN’s slightly wetter-sounding highs. As @mvvRAZ mentioned, it’s a low-treble peak on the ODIN vs. an upper-treble tia lift on the U12t.

So what is the IEM you think is the best looking design? Thummim is pretty cool looking to me not exactly ergonomic. This one is pretty to me like the 8000 so nothing new but the color and shine make it pretty, looks ergonomic.

Odin lacks bass? hahah whoever said that has been hitting the crack pipe. Some may complain if they like more mid to upper bass? Otherwise it has the best bass I've heard from an IEM... and I'm a bit of a bass head.
