I would actually love to see Nic review the LCD-i4. I am very curious about it and wonder if the technology can set it apart far enough to warrant the odd shape. I have looked at the iSine 10 and 20 several times and I keep stumbling over their shape, but find the prospect of getting an "in-ear" version of the LCD-2 very compelling. It seems that it is in line with what @Canyon Runner said to me a while back, that companies are looking at ways to get that open-back feel in an IEM and Audeze might be the closest yet. Thanks for the post.
I do not see a scenario where it would make sense for me to get the Audeze i4, but your description of the sound, especially the ethereal treble, is making it sound interesting.
I have the Maestro V2 now...give me a couple of days and I will give you a comparisonNot sure what you mean, jmills? I am referring to an IEM that performs well with larger scale classical music. It seems that it's tonal characteristics would favor this. However, Mimouille has made some comments about its midrange voicing that might be of concern. Has anyone compared the VE8 and nic's "preferred" Maestro V2?

As you already teached us before that all (c)iems suck, shouldn't the question be: 'In which degree does it suck?'Does it suck?

Well, with the Maestro in the top 5, it shows how low the level is...
Edit: no, I am NOT seriously saying that, but some people seem to have been offended when I mentioned that I did not see how it can be better than another one ranked lower,... so just ”pouring oil on the fire"
No suckage here
You have worked well my children. You are almost ready to master....the schwartz
