Be careful on the source pairing too, just like rasmushorn said, T70 is very picky

Well, the 940's are like a little monsters when it comes down to detail, so I'm used to that, don't know if the t70 would pick up more detail than the 940s, maybe since the t70 were described as cleaner, it could somehow be better detailed, but when I get them I'll provide feedback. However, I even like the how detailed the 940s are... that's why I changed most of my audio files to FLAC to enjoy even more my music...

Besides I use the D12 DAC/amp which works just beautiful for me. Maybe in the future I'll get the Fiio e12, which has been described as a very good one.

This impressed me for sure, they do sound very close to the T5p for half the price and just amazing with the A1 amp. Might be the synergy a lot of you missed.

I done a video review on it here:

The are quite expensive about 130$.. But suppose thay are worth it.

Few days ago I have been testing T70 with Cayin (stock tubes) but even this way it was very very nice setup. I noticed that these headphones got great potential, that could not be found by me previously with Shiit Asgard for example.

How do these compare with the T90.
And does anyone have a pair of T70p for sale?...around say...$300?

I've recently seen it for $287 on Amazon Marketplace, but I missed it. Currently its $350 on eBay but its just a hair over my budget.

So is this the correct order of the Tesla line?
Home Use:

#1.T1 (semi-open), #2.T90 (open), #3.T70 (closed)

Portable Use:
#1.T5p, #2.T70p, #3.T50p (on ear)(all closed)

Thats a good variety, everything is almost in a league of their own.
Why weren't the Custom One Pro Teslas?

The COP isn't high enough in the product line to use the Tesla drivers.

The T90 and T70 use the same Tesla driver, so if the COP were to have been made with the driver they would either A. Used the same driver or B. developed a different driver. Both processes would have dramatically increased the cost of the unit, as the T70 and T90 both sell for well over three times the price of the COP, and developing a whole new driver would definitely not be cheap.

Ok I just got'em! Has anyone noticed any noticeable change after burn in?

EDIT: Shoot! well mine have some distortion in the left speaker between 10-150 hz. Will this go away after some burn in?

How do you know that? I'm not a believer of burn in, so I personally don't think the drivers sound different five minutes or five hours after first use. I do believe in brain burn in, and I'm sure you'll get used to the sound.
