I really need to buy E5000 again now that I can give them more power - I got a taste over two years ago but only with the Sony ZX300 and ZX507.
Ah sadly none of the portable Sony players have enough power for the e5000. Your shanling h7 should do a great job though

Yeah the H7 should have plenty of power via balanced or even single ended. Interestingly, LPGT Ti has 720mW single ended, more than its balanced @ 500mW - I suspect that will go nicely with the warm tuning of E5000 even with the stock cable. I’m convincing myself to buy them 😬

Noticed something weird over the past weeks...
I noticed today that on the Final audio website, in the german and frence front ends any reference to the A-Series disseappeared. You won't find info on the A3000, A4000 and never had info on the A5000.

Over the last months I noticed that the A3000 and A4000 availability in Europe dropped to 0, checked German, Dutch and Belgian stores.
The A5000 in germany for example only listed at 2 stores, 1 without any site info, warranty info nor info on their return policy which as far as I know is mandotory as a store. the other one is a 100% legit store.

Then there is 1 dutch, 1 austrian store, 1 danish and 1 polish store where it either listed as sold out or delivery in 2-3 weeks or available. But here as as well A3K and A4k disseappeared. While at the same time B series is available everywhere.

Kind of weird. Look to buy the A5000 next month but seeing the scarcisty is kind of weird.

Interesting. European distribution has always been a frustrating problem with Final. Wifimedia seem like a good option within the EU. Which other stores have you found? Beware of Polish stores which sometimes don’t apply the 2-year warranty and 14-day return policies.

For European folks, try https://kopfhoererboutique.com/search?q=Final. They have almost all Final iems in stock, and will allow you to demo most of them (in their physical store in Vienna - lovely place), even the flagship A8000, which is rare in Europe. The owner is always responsive through email, feel free to give it a shot

That was one of the stores, but since they do not have any return policy listed on their site. I hesitate

I found the following stores :

Wifimedia in NL
Heimkinowelt.at in austria https://heimkinowelt.at/final-audio-design-a-5000-in-ear-kopfhoerer-a34421.html
Projekt akustik in DE https://www.projekt-akustik.de/final-audio-a5000
There was another German store that had them listed but removed them fairly quickly
and then 1 french store, but since I can't speak french I ignored it .

But don't the polish stores have to follow the 14 day return window... it is an EU law.
Though this does not apply to IEM and earbuds, since they can be declared as hygene articles and thereby unless broken can not be returned.
Think only amazon takes back everything, even though they do not need to

Result : he had 1 A5000 in stock, but now it is out of stock!

@Forever8895 thanks for the tip. Though visiting the store is difficult - Berlin - Wien is schon ne strecke.

I would love to see a graph comparison between A4000 and A5000. Has anyone measured it?

Right now preparing a delivery on Zen market with some ear tips,

I know that there is a difference between the default Final Type E black eartips and the Clear/Clear-red but is there a difference to the White, brown, blue ones as well?

The Singapore Authorised Dealer in Singapore, who also own Dita, sent across “new” ear pads for the previous degraded ear pads. I let the store try to fit on the replacement of the replacement ear pads… Well… the pictures speak a thousand words. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Amazingly! We are almost at the end of May! And the singapore authorised dealers, Project perfection, who also own Dita, have still NOT done anything to replace the ear pads! INCREDIBLE!!! SHOCKING!!!

So, I really cannot say that Final cares about their products or service levels. Neither does PROJECT PERFECTION. Who own DITA by the way. Caveat Emptor is all I can say! Expensive stuff that get no support or service!!!

Could you reach them on the phone or drop by their show room at The Adelphi?
