Thanks for information. I am currently in love with my B3s. Very glad I pulled the trigger on these!

Yes, I reviewed all three of the B series IEMs, and thought they were good value for the asking price. Personally, I liked the B1 the most due to its bass performance, but I rated the B3 equally well. Congrats!

Hi guys, i have an e3k.
My questions, how differ e2k and e3k ?
And is worth to upgrade from e3k to e4k ?

Perhaps this site will help with its frequency graphs on all the E series models ... scroll down to the middle of the rankings to find them. I realize you’re looking for a more subjective viewpoint, but I’ve found this site helpful with purchasing decisions.

I am fairly certain your review was one of the ones that actually swayed me to buy it! I considered going for the B1, but I loved the finish of the B3 and the price point was just right for me. I would be curious to hear a comparison between the B1 and Campfire Audio Polaris II as they are both very similar in design.

Well, thank you for trusting my review! I went back and forth between the B1 and B3 ... in some ways, especially the upper frequencies, the B3 is the better, but I do like bass.

I read the review on the Polaris 2 recently, and I’m interested in giving that a listen, too.

E3000 and E4000 have quite different signatures. They sound different enough that I wouldn't call one an "upgrade" over the other in terms of sound alone. If you need better build quality/detachable cable then obviously E4000 will deliver that, but sonically E3000 is the most laid-back of the whole E-series IMO without completely sacrificing the treble sparkle. It's also less dependent on source compared to E4000/E5000 as both of them need some power to shine. E2000 will be a slight downgrade IMO as while they do have more lower treble emphasis, they don't quite have the effortless mids-to-treble transition of the E3000.

Ok guys, sorry for my late response again.

This week, hmm.... involving myself too much with a big project coming end of this year. :D
So, again, I owned you guys a lot of answers, so here we go!

It's also written on their website that the E-type tips reduce bass: https://snext-final.com/en/products/accessories/detail/earpiece.html

Thank you for quoting the information from our website here.

Please allow me to explain a little about this. This is actually very scientific and no magic here.
The material that we use for the ear tips flange is actually transparent itself. And color version is made by adding different substances into the original material.
Therefore, the clear type is actually the original one, and the other colors are sub-species? Haha.

When the original material is added with coloring substance, the hardness increase slightly. Not much.

Sound changes with sealing. Better sealing = stronger lows, weaker mids, and highs / Weaker sealing = weaker lows, stronger mids and highs.

With a stronger hardness, the force in which the flange push towards the ear canal is stronger and therefore providing better sealing.

So this is the reason why Clear type is having slightly weaker bass compared to the color version.
Even different colors could cause different minor differences but, only very good ears could notice them.

That is why picking the correct size to achieve perfect sealing is important. Only with the good sealing, you could enjoy the actual sound the makers trying to deliver to you.
Another thing is, human ear canal size and shape normally is different between Left ear and Right ear. Therefore, it is totally fine to use a different size for L and R to achieve perfect sealing.

That is why Final product always comes with 5 different sizes of ear tips SS, S, M, L, LL so that users could switch around to achieve their best sealing.

Out of curiosity, is the cable on the B3 the same as the one on the B1 and A8000? If so, is that the C106 cable?
Also, have any of you had issues with fraying at the MMCX connector because you don't use the ear hooks?
Silver coated cable "Kei" which is also the same cable used for super computer is currently come by default with
Lab II, F7200 E5000, B1, B3 and A8000

However, due to the different design of the earphone connection side, 3 different numbers are available
C081 - Lab II
C071 - F7200
C106 - E5000, B1, B3, A8000

C106 actually also comes with 2.5mm and 4.4mm balanced connection plug.

A lot of people has shared their opinion with you. Kindly look around on to the reviews.

E2000 and E3000 were released 2017 with E2000 is more leaning towards mid and high while E3000 is more leaning towards low which imitating the sound signature of our flagship headphone D8000.

E4000 and E5000 were released 1 year later 2018, with E4000 is more leaning towards mid and high while E5000 is having even more low compared to E3000.

However, the preference for everyone is different. Therefore I guess if you are using E3000, and if you think that you want more details on mid and high, but willing to give away some low, then E4000 can be considered as an upgrade. But if you think that you need more low, then E5000 might be what you should go with.

However, please note that the sensitivity of the E3000, E4000 and E5000 are different, therefore please expect that you might need more power to driver E4000 and even more for E5000. Here are some specifications sharing.

E3000 - 16 ohm impedance, 102db/mw sensitivity
E4000 - 15 ohm impedance, 97db/mw sensitivity
E5000 - 14 ohm impedance, 93db/mw sensitivity

I am not sure if you are listening to music through a smartphone or a dedicated player. If currently you are already pushing to almost 100% to drive your E3000, then E5000 might deliver slightly low volume at your taste.

Honesty is very important while we face our customer, therefore I am trying to be very transparent with the issue you might have. :)

Thanks for information. I am currently in love with my B3s. Very glad I pulled the trigger on these!
We are really glad to know that you are loving the B3. The double BAs model actually has caught a lot of love from users who enjoy details of music while still maintaining the relaxing balanced sound setting.

Seems like I'm facing a new cable issue with my newly replaced E3000. The right cable leading out of the right stainless steel housing is starting to disintegrate... :frowning2:
We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience caused. We are wondering if you received a brand new replacement?

Please let us guide you directly to our authorized distributor to make sure that you get a brand new unit replacement. Kindly check your PM.
