I've just ordered an m6 to partner my q5. Ideal work set up.

Japanese seller on amazon offering M6 to US for $750.

I think he throws in free shipping.

He better does for jacking up the price 5X.

Good question. My past experiences with in ear headphones were a disaster. I ended up with the foldable PX100II. I might try again with those new dual drivers now. There are some for 50$ I might afford.

As per BT dongle next week I'll get the BTr1K and I'll see how it goes
Even better bluetooth dongle is the earstudio es100 and aside from the bluetooth output it has the 3.5 and the balance 2.5.
I've had my hd58x jubilee's plug into it an (wow) plentiful power!

Wow, generous :D

Looks incredible indeed! But the extra cost makes it too expensive in my country :) For now I'll settle for the btr1k, should have it by the weekend - hope so!

Maybe he sells them in packs of 4. :smile_phones:

I see these prices all the time on amazon.ca for foreign dealers but I am surprised it is that high in US dollars. So that would be like $2000.00 Canadian.

Actually they have it for pre-order on amazon.ca for $220.00 CDN shipping January 31st. Tempting but I want to demo it first so I will until other dealers offer it. Price seems a little high considering it sells for $149.00 US.

I expected it to be more like $200.00 CDN and I might wait as well to see if the price drops once more dealers have it or I can negotiate a better price. Another advantage of buying retail is being able to haggle over the price, especially since Fiio is carried by alot of dealers in Toronto

Is that a crack on it? That's unfortunate if so.

Not at all, just a speck of dust lit by strong sunlight, at the wrong place, at the wrong time. Since I work a lot outdoors, there may be a speck of dust here and there that I can't get off a device until I take the photo :)

One of them there optical illusion thingies.

It’s right where a crack would happen if you were to say become butterfingers and drop it ha ha.

Has anyone had a Cowon Plenue D, and is the M6 a sonic upgrade in any way. Liking the m 6 and wanting to upgrade from my trusty matchbox sized DAP.

From memory, the m6 has better imaging and detail. Things are more defined in the sound scape and it’s less warm.

Take this with a grain of salt of course. :)

Mine arrived today and it's a lovely looking dap. Couldn't get it to read my micro SD card at first but it worked in the end. Great transport for my q5

Going to try getting Spotify on it later. Do you copy the installation file onto internal or SD storage
