Question for M11 owners who also have an iPad Pro. Has anyone tried using the M11 as an external DAC/AMP for the '18 iPad Pro? Did you use the M11 as a bluetooth receiver or did you try USB C to USB C?
Got a trip coming up where there'll be times my wife and I both want to listen to her iPad via earphones, which means physical connection and splitter. Don't really want to shell out for a DAC/AMP just for this, was hoping the M11 might come to the rescue.
Anyone tried this? What were the results?

I own the FiiO M11 and I am looking to purchase a headphone amp for this. I understand the the Schiit Magni3 is a good amp and gets excellent reviews for its price. Because I am new to headphone amps, I want to know how to hook up the amp to the FiiO M11. Is it compatible even with the the Magni 3. If not what would be a good alternative.

Issue persist after reset, its some inteference that sounds like a helicopter ( you read it right )

Try using (at)fiio when posting your issue and fiio should respond, eventually :)

What software are you using for music on the computer to play via your M11?

Using musicbee

All you need is a 3.5mm stereo to RCA cable to connect the FiiO M11 to the Schiit Magni 3. Use the Line Out function on the FiiO M11, and then adjust the volume on the Magni 3 to taste during playback.

Do you have a bit perfect setup?
Playing with the playback buffer can sometimes introduce artifacts, especially when trying to achieve a direct connection through ASIO.

I often use the line out from the m11 into a magni3 and sometimes my asguard 2. yes they are compatible.

Fiio is mentioning deep sleep in order to achieve that standby, but even if i stopp the music, close all the apps and don't touch the M11 I still have around 10% battery consumption in one day, so 50 days seem to be imposible.:slight_frown: This seems like fake marketing. @FiiO can you help us with this?

Dear friend,

Did you turn off the Bluetooth, Wifi, and the screen is off?

Best regards
