True, but I'll bet that most people, regardless of how large their music collection is, are only ever listening to a small percentage of it.
Once I realized that I found it liberating knowing that I only needed to load the music I was interested in listening to as opposed to paying to store and carry around a music archive I would virtually never delve into again.
You may be right, but I love the fact that I can take it on vacations and family gatherings and hear it in the car or with good sounding BT speakers. I set it on random play or can listen sorted by year, artist, etc. We always end up hearing those spicial B-Side tracks that we haven't heard in years. Everyone always remind me "to bring my music machine" and always compliment me on my music.
As a follow-up, there is NO way to get the portability, audio quality AND storage in a phone that you have with a DAP. This will become even more of a issue as soon as I pull the trigger on 2 x 2TB cards. Phones just do not offer this.
Does Fiio M11 pro Support balanced line out (LO) from the 4.4mm headphone jack. Want to connect it as a dac to my ifi zen can , with a 4.4mm to 4.4mm cable ?
Can someone help me out. I am trying to connect my m11S to my chord mojo via usb c output. However I am not able to do so, Tidal seams it is playing but I cannot hear anything. I have tried also with other DACs either the same situation. According to FIIO I need to enable usb out in the FIIO app which I have done with same results.
Someone else having that issue or know how to resolve it?

Assuming it is like the M11 Plus, you need to adjust the digital audio volume manually, set it to maximum. Once set for a given device it should remember that setting but I find that isn’t always 100% reliable and it needs to be reset manually.
If you have the digital volume very low you would likely hear no output despite that it is playing.
