NO NO NO!! DAP is a dedicated audio player :p :)
I don't know, my wife nicknamed the M11 the "high-end Solitaire player". (She always steals my phone to play solitaire and when the M11 came in and I said it was Android she just asked... "But does it play Solitaire?")

Thank you for your help.
But how do I sign in from the Neutron app?
I go to settings/ help/account.
Then when I try to enter the information for pop3 I don't seem to manage to register it.
(in the pop3 dialogue underneath there are 3 buttons. one that depicts something like an envelope, one that depicts the delete sign and one that depicts an X. If e.g. I write the 'pop3s://pop.gmail.com' and the hit the envelope button nothing happens. The same about Login & Password)
What do I do wrong?

Those buttons from left to right are 'Paste' 'Undo' and 'Clear' not for registering anything.
If you have enabled pop3 in gmail then just type in the address, username and password pressing enter on your keyboard after each one. Neutron should have a progress bar at the top whilst checking and put a circle selector next to your account once it is confirmd ok.

Try restarting neutron after (force close from settings, apps) and back into help, account to check.

I tried the BT DAC receiver functionality for the first time today. The M11 is primarily about audio quality for me, and I know that BT compromises that. But I have to say I really like being able to stream things from my iPhone (which has an unlimited data plan) to the M11 so I can listen to music or watch video using with the FH7s. I could do the same thing by using my iPhone as a WiFi hotspot connected to the M11 (and that works fine), but as good as the display and interface for the M11 are, I prefer navigating and watching on my iPhoneX.

Overall, it just speaks to the quality and flexibility of the M11. I am finding it far more satisfying than my first DAP, which was an AK240.

The FiiO user documentation doesn't provide any description of, well pretty much any, options for the general device settings and FiiO music player settings.
Maybe it's all clear as a bell to you long term DAP users, but I could really use a clue about these options:

From the general device settings for audio:
What is the effect of the various "lowpass filter mode" settings?

From the FiiO Player App settings:
What is the effect of the "play through folder" setting?
What is the "HWA" setting?

FiiO: please provide some documentation on device and app options.

Thanks
Dear friend,

1. Lowpass filter mode: To set the filter modes: Sharp Roll-Off Filter, Slow Roll-Off Filter, Short delay Sharp Roll-Off Filter, Short delay Slow Roll-Off Filter, Super Slow Roll-Off Filter. For reference:

2. Play through folders may be set to On to set the M11 to skip automatically from the last song in one folder to the first song in the next folder when playing from a folder listing.

3. HWA is one kind of the Bluetooth codec.

Best regards

Hello, yesterday I found that Q5s does not handle DSD correctly. L and R channels are reversed when playing DSD. With PCM (flac,mp3,...) channels are correct

Possibility how to check is with Fiio Music android application. You can do it with ANY DSD track you have.

1. Play any DSD track on PC or elswhere.
2. Note positions what is on the left and on the right.
3. Play the same DSD track in FiioMusic - USB output Native settings
4. You hear channels are reversed
5. Switch USB output to DoP DSD over PCM.
6. Channels are still reversed.
7. Switch USB Output to D2P DSD to PCM conversion.
8. Channels are correct.

You can do this also with any other players which support DSD and switching DSD mode.
DSD bitstream is sent to wrong channels, PCM bitstream is sent correctly.

If you will experience similar channel reversing in Native and DoP mode comparing D2P then the same problem is also in M11.
Will you please check this?

Oh my. Just got my 4.4 bal cable yesterday and tried to listen to a song while my m11 is plugged in my laptop. When i played a song it played a very loud static on my ciems. It didn’t happen before on the SE.

edit: I tried while not plugged in the computer. It still plays a loud static on balance.

edit 2: it's only happening when the battery is at 100%. I'm at 94 now and it's working fine.

I have now tested with a 4.4 cable at 100% battery and 100% connecter to usb pc and did not have any sound issues sorry.
