I'm thinking tomorrow i'll order an asg-1, and worry about the asg-2 when it actually is released...

I'm still rather apprehensive about it. I was hoping that the announcement may contain some information concerning upgrading ASG-1s to asg-2s.

Update on burn in: sweetness level is just below the level of the PFE232 (in most songs, there are some songs that the 232s will instantly excel though).  Unless you ABed them, you wouldn't know the 232s were sweeter.  Continuing the burn in.  I hope the treble comes in like they did with the 1.0/1.1 revision (obviously I want a little more sweetness too) :)

Same situation here. I think I might just go for a nice amp instead and wait for asg-2

Ha,
I've already done that. Got myself a c421 for my birthday, and bounced back.

ugh. waiting game, really. If I knew whether the ASG-1 + Upgrade combined put me within $45 of the cost of the ASG-2 new, i'd just get the asg-1 now and see if i can enjoy it for the next 2-7 months till the ASG-2 is released.

If you look at the lower right corner you'll notice that the image is copyrighted so it's best if you ask Dale for permission before you post/publish it anywhere else.

Where'd you get that information on the pricing?

Considering the same as well. Dear Dale, when can we expect the pricing info? :)
