SoundScience QSB - 30W USB Desktop Speakers with NXT DyadUSB Technology

£15.50 intead of £109.00. I have no idea what they're like but they have good reviews, just bought some, worth a punt at that price

Buy with caution if you have a MAC.

Received these today, not quite audiophile quality but they do sound stunning, a mile ahead of my expectations, sounding lovely listening to 24 Bit music on Foobar on my lappy

Deal still on.

It's not exactly a deal. You can buy them for under £20 any month of the year. AMP3's £109 RRP is highly misleading.

Every company plays that game, pretty much, unless they use TSP (Typical selling Price) like Richer Sounds. The point is, it's still a good deal. If you can find a better price, post it. That's the whole point of this thread. It's not about anything else other than that. I'm pretty sure that forum members have different ideas about what constitutes a 'deal' for them, personally, anyway.

Take the Music Fidelity MF200'S, the deal started at approx £89, you can buy them now circa £73. If I had £89 paid I'd still be happy with that even though it's dropped since. For others the thought of that would torture them, different strokes for different folks, I guess.

And how low is 'low' ?

Ultimately, IMHO, a deal is the price that someone is willing to part with their cash. Everyone is different. I've got my opinion, you've got yours, not really worth arguing over, fella.

Then why are you arguing about it? There's nothing special about the price of those SoundScience speakers and readers should not be misled by AMP3's advertising. That's all there is to say. Just leave it.

To be fair these cost £89.99 4 1/2 years ago when they were tested and received 9/10 score by Trusted Reviews.

So I'd call it a deal
