„Inspire“ is absolutely the right word here! After LX I bought EVO and Odin. A really great experience. Sold them both now for Odyssey. Can‘t wait to hear them both at the same time 😎

Thank you!

Look forward to your feedback on Odyssey vs Legend X.

I wish Odyssey was offered in custom form.

I talked to Jack Vang why EE does not offer custom IEMs with BCD in SoCal CanJam, Jack mentioned the difficulty in building custom IEM with BCD while maintain the same sound signature, and they for now will not offer that.

Hi all,

I could get a deal on EE Hero or the Bravado MkII. Which would be preferable for house music, chill out, downtempo etc?

Dealer held an exhibition in Hong Kong for the Odyssey and AK Sp3000
Odyssey VS IER-Z1R (as I couldn't bring my entire collection out) played out from SP3000

Test tracks: [Sam Smith - Lay me down, Unholy] [Aimer - Kataomoi (Live in Budokan blanc et noir)] [Beyonce - Partition] [John Mayer - Gravity, Gravity (Live at the Nokia Theatre)]
Eartips: Azla Crystal S on Odyssey, Sony triple comfort SS on IER-Z1R
  • Subbass: rumble and extension much stronger than Z1R, never though I would see the day another iem's bass beat out the Z1R's for me. Tickled my throat in the opening verse of Beyonce's Partition. Maybe the bone conduction putting in work?
  • Midbass: Z1R's slam is stronger and fuller (rounder?) than Odyssey, midbass is a smidgen dry on the Odyssey
  • Lower mids: perfect distancing for vocals, closer than Z1R and sweeter but not too close, guitars sound very natural as well
  • Upper mids: Same for female vocals, perfect vocal depth positioning never causing any "in-head" squinting, actually really enjoyed female vocals and were never sibilant. Aimer sounded very sweet.
  • Treble: More comfortable less fatiguing listen than the Z1R, albeit less extension, shimmer, and attack. Would have preferred more upper treble for airiness and decay on cymbals but then it would just be copying the Z1R which can get fatiguing at times.
  • Soundstage & imaging: Very very good, even next to the Z1R which is extremely generous. More depth on the Z1R but the Odyssey matches it in height and width. Live tracks were a joy to listen to.
Placed my deposit and should be seeing them mid-November! (Worth the 3400 USD just for the looks alone)

The big question surrounding the Odyssey. Will this be the IEM to compete with, or surpass, the Traillii or Jewel at a much more reasonable price?

At last the Odyssey came into my hands.
The Odyssey is awesome!
