Did you sort out this issue?
Looks like I have the same bug after moving to Amp8Ex where volume increases regardless of volume knob direction used.
I am currently having to adjust down using the screen.

No, @Paul - iBasso suggested to send the item back to him. Haven't done it yet.

edited: this is quite interesting, out of 100 unit, 2 unit has broke the volume function.

So in my case it cant be that.


I had the same volume issue. One to two weeks back.

I opened up my unit and pushed the battery over slightly so it was not resting on the volume so much (inside).

then it was fine.

- i did try usual trouble shooting issues as factory reset etc
