with the burn-in cable the battery lasted me only 4 hours, is this normal?
I get about 5 hours on average with Mid gain and listening volume around 66 in Mango mode using Sony MDR-EX650 T's. Will have to see how this changes with AMP8EX and JVC-FDX1 - mostly using High gain now more EQ in the lower frequency bands.

Others have reported similar battery life of 4 - 5 hours. Not sure who out there might be getting 8+ hours and what the details are of there settings...

Anyone else?

Cheers,
Tim

maybe only 4 hours because the burn-in cable works in balanced mode?
That is a possibility. I also recall some early post about battery life improving after a few complete charge/discharge cycles, burn-in, etc - wouldn't "bet the farm" on it but you could see some improvement as you continue using it.

Mostly though - enjoy the music!

Cheers,
Tim

Was thinking about getting a DX220, but not if the battery life is 4-5hrs on balanced. Guess I’ll keep the 200

I found that with the same settings and gain and volume, the mango app is much more powerful than Android mango, why?
Hmm... when u mean match Volume, as show in number? e.g. like Mango OS 20 and on Android Mango also 20? fyi, although same number, but different loudness...

if you perceive same loudness, you are not wrong, for me, Mango OS is more enjoyable, although no unfold MQA etc...

why? I let others who use it longer to explain...

hmm.. you can't match it based on Number volume... because on Mango OS, u will perceive sound louder.

I take mine, using Solaris in Mango OS, volume 6-8, while in Mango Android, I assumed same loudness, volume 12-14. Same Mid Gain...

again, Assuming you listen with the same volume (not same number). I still with my previous opinion, Mango OS still more enjoyable...

yes, for the same volume number, mango os is more powerful than mango android

It's not more powerful, just different scale. Android is 0-150, Mango OS is 0-100.
