The head stage is very expansive with great proportions without sounding fake.
Positioning is very accurate with excellent space cues.

A great iem for dense classical music.
Indeed, the soundstage is holographic, imaging is also stunning! BTW, nice track!!

haha, dont worry. You cant see tiny defects that show up with the macro camera with your own naked eye.

Here is my graph:
EST112.png

This iem is a "jack of all genres, master of non" type. It is very versatile and has a very good ability to change its tonality to adapt to the track, whether it is to be brighter or warmer, note weight is also not too thick nor thin so it complements its versatility very well.

This does however limit its ability to play a specific genre to its full potential, because it does tend to either lack some more warmth or brightness to be fully tonally correct (happens mostly with the vocals).

And with some genres (particularly EDM and Hip-hop) the sub-bass quantity is a little bit lacking for my taste. Although it is definitely elevated above neutral it still lacks that extra bit to make it even more fun (thankfully the texture is good enough to "compensate" a bit for the quantity).

I can agree with this from my testing too. Doesn't sound flat and still has some life to it.

I imagine the versatile tuning/tonality is a big asset for its market position, as an affordable EST IEM, where consumers probably want a really good all-in-one IEM, rather than specialists.

I received the DK-3001 pro a week ago and it burned only 30 hours with the DX160, this IEM is a enjoyable, natural tone detailed cleanly, non harshe at all, soft tasty and quiet, the bass is great and really clean, it sinks into low bass quickly Without decay, I listened to all kinds of music including electronic It does a perfect job.

Now I wonder what the EST 112 would look like, especially since the price between thim is just 20
