Hell yeah. Considering the price to performance is pretty damn high on the A7. (Prefer it over the Sony IER-M9). The EST112 is seriously punching above it's price bracket. I'm clicking buy now
The EST112 is actually superior in detail, clarity and overall performance. The soundstage is tied and they are similarly airy, which is very impressive since it looks like the upper-treble is more elevated on the FD5 in the graph compared to the EST112. Guess the EST is working hard lol.
The only reason why I would recommend the FD5 over the EST112 (besides price difference) is if you want a bassier iem, then the FD5 will probably be more to your liking. But the EST112 is a better tuned and more versatile iem.
Compared with the A7 (pop-red) and the EST112 is beating it on all factors. Bass actually sounds a bit bloated on the A7 in comparison. A7 is only better if you want a relaxing and fun iem (bigger bass).

Despite the number of drivers in DUNU EST 112, can they be compared to ThieAudio Monarch, or ThieAudio Monarch headphones are higher level and much more interesting configured? I want to click on the " Buy " button and try Dunu EST. I've never listened to music through Dunu headphones.

More drivers doesnt equal better. Stuff like the Sony IER-Z1R should be the proof of that, with "only" 3 drivers (2 DD, 1 BA).Despite the number of drivers in DUNU EST 112, can they be compared to ThieAudio Monarch, or ThieAudio Monarch headphones are higher level and much more interesting configured? Size comparison
Smaller than the Blessing 2 which is like a potato in my ears.
A bit bigger than the fh3.
A lot bigger than the blon bl-03.
Hey I was wondering how the 112 compares to the FH3? The FH3 is my first IEM and I primarily listen to EDM(house and techno), some jam rock and alt/indie rock. But I absolutely love the bass response on the FH3 for EDM. How do these compare? I ask because for a couple months now I was wondering what a logical upgrade to the FH3 would be and these Dunu IEMs piqued my interest. Honestly from my light research the only things that interest me as an upgrade to it are Thieaudio Monarch or maybe Audeze LCDi4. I just love a good punchy, detailed bass that doesn't bleed into everything else and the FH3 blew me away, I used to completely write off in ears before that.

But TLDR, for EDM I take the FH3 over the EST112. The bass quantity is a lot higher on the FH3 and that suits those genres more.

The FH3 rumbles more than the FD5, so for EDM I think the FH3 should be better. But for something like trance, the FD5 will be better.Maybe FD5 for EDM?
(by trance, I mean something like this: )

yeah i dont listen to much trance. but with techno the FH3 really shines because the bass and subbass get really detailed and layered in a lot of tracks and the FH3 made a lot of my tracks sound brand new. Like I was hearing notes and sounds I never percieved before with a pair of over ears. I've only had vmoda m100's(thinking about an E-MU Teak to upgrade these) for like 5+ years or so and I thought those were good for my purposes, but the FH3 really blew my socks off with how good in ears could sound, my only experience before were like earbuds that came with phones over the last two decades. Sorry to steer the conversation away from the 112, it's great but also kinda sucks that the FH3 was my first because its hard for me to find something that improves upon it from just reading reviews.

Metal:Are Dunu EST112 suitable for listening to various subgenres of metal and electronic music ?
Disclaimer: I dont listen to a lot of metal.
Works great here. No complaints from me.
Tonality is too bright here, would be better if it was warmer.
Treble is sharp here (from 1:18 to 4:21)
Electronic:
not enough rumble and the punch also needs a lot more quantity.
Clean and very good, but still needs more quantity.
Great, no complaints.
very good but a bit more bass quantity would be better.
Great as the bass is already boosted a lot in the track.

It's a pity that Dunu EST 112 is not a basshead (

I think it works better this way. Better to be a versatile iem than a specialist since this is the cheapest EST tribrid and there will probably be a lot of people wanting this iem. It's a pity that Dunu EST 112 is not a basshead (
