yeah, thats not the chord, thats the LTP itself, check on the thread about it, we all complain about the same, i ended up wrapping it in a EFI shield that i bought on amazon, pictures are on the LTP thread

Interesting, I didn't hear it with single-ended default Andromeda cable. Do you think that USB purifier from iFi will help a little bit?

dunno tbh, in my personal experience, I hat to foil it, maybe checking it in the lotoopaw s1 thread could be more helpful, I haven’t checked it for a while

I'm really impressed with the FH9, despite having and enjoying all my pricier iems. I'll have a test session with DK-4001 this Saturday and report back.

Meanwhile, how loud do you listen to music? Some inears are more suitable for low level listening, some truly blossom at higher SPL.

And what dap do you use ?

I will say, I'm listening music on low to medium volume, I'm using Looto Paw 6000, and listening music around 50/100 on low gain.

It took a bit more time than I thought but I'm finally back listening to the DK-4001.

They're still very good, the FH9 comparison is interesting.

More to come in a few days.

My DK-4001 have lower volume in the left side using any of the different connectors. The nozzle appears to be clean. Is there any 'repair' i can do on these? I did replace them with Falcon Pro but would like to use them for things like yard work where the risk of snagging is greater

I've run into volume issues from oxidation or other grime accumulating and causing resistive connections. Tried cleaning the plug connection and the mmcx connectors w/ something like a plastic safe, non-conductive deoxit?

Thanx, i'll give that a try before contacting DUNU. These have less than 50 hours of use.

That's a bit surprising, though I suppose oxidation can happen while it's in the warehouse too. Maybe check with Dunu first in case it would impact returns/repairs..
