I'd just try out some Koss headphones if you can. The Koss Pro DJ100s are only $80 and the sound quality is better then the M50s and they're lighter and have better bass. The fit is also better for most people I imagine. They're at most Best Buys and you can just try them out and return them if you don't like them. I prefer them over the Porta Pros due to better comfort and sound quality.
If you want to save a ton of money, the UR-55 is also good. Those are only $50, but the $30 upgrade to the dj100 is worth it.
My second suggestion is the M50s. If you can somehow find a pair of Shure SRH-840s for under $120 I'd get those since they're possibly the best headphones for any kind of electronic music under $200. Finding a pair for $120 might be too hard though.
