I'm using the same card, i formatted to the specific instructions for FAT32, i was plugging along nicely for awhile, then as i started adding albums to the card, ran the update system, the albums show up but when i hit play the unit either froze or cited that is was an invalid file, moved said albums to the internal memory and they played just fine. I had trouble at first also but after i pulled the card out a reinserted it, and ran update, all went well, maybe there is a file cap in the system so we can't utilize the full 200gb, sad. As before maybe it can be solved by firmware, hope so.

Yes, there is a file cap.

Translated, it is 8000 files and 4000 folders for the internal memory, 16000 files and 8000 folders for micro SD card. However, I believe this is only a database limit, so you might be able to play the invalid files by playing them from the folder browser method.

My entire library of FLAC files is 6,890 files in 641 folders (194GB), but if I put more than 140GB on a 200GB card, the Plenue D isn't happy.  I have tried with multiple cards that play fine in other DAPs.  So, it looks like there is another undocumented limit besides the ones that you mentioned.  I only play by folder browsing.  My Plenue 1 has no such issue, it's unique to the D.

How are you putting them on the card?  Using a card slot on the computer or connecting the player via usb?

I've tried it both ways.  It just doesn't like more than 140GB of files.

Currently 2089 files and 203 folders on my sdcard totaling 124gb out of possible 200gb card, some of these files are album art, but none the less i'm coming in under the said limits. Internal memory i'm safely under the numbers. Folder view i have no luck in playing invalid files, either goes to blank screen or does nothing, so i have to soft reset.

Looking to buy this one for my portable setup. Just wanted to ask if you can turn off the screen while still being able to play/pause, increase/decrease volume. I listen to music with the lights off before I sleep, so it gets irritating when the screen constantly turns on when you just want to change the song or volume (I'm looking at you, iPod Classic).

I'm having a problem with Plenue D. The songs of the internal memory of the player (not the micro SD) during the exchange of track to another track are showing noise (very low), but this only happens when the screen is off.

On all your songs? What happens if you copy a song that does not do this that is on the SD to the internal memory and do a test? What happens?
