As there's quite a bit to read, if anyone would be so kind to give a quick opinion...  due to seeing the current $200 price on the Plenue D on Amazon and my love for the smaller daps, would the Plenue D be worth getting if I already have a rockbox xDuoo X3?  I don't have need for the dual card slots, and any listening with the dap will be done with IEMs or earbuds that should be driven easily enough.

For sure! The Plenue D Cowon very worth it! Best cost-benefit in the price range (200-300).

Not format the internal memory of the player. The built-in memory of the product is already formatted and does not require additional formatting.
 
Just connect the player to the PC with the screen turned on using the USB cable and delete what you need.
 
If the buttons or touch screen do not respond during use, press and hold the volume + and − buttons to reset for 6 seconds or more.

btw i bought the $200 black/gold version from amazon fulfilled by jetaudio, and it's able to ship to my country however when i try to add the screenprotector and leather case from the same store, it states that item cannot be shipped to my country... so weird...
