Thanks!

Btw, did a few battery tests.  Fully charged, playing mp3 in a loop at a normal listening volume with UERR and screen off.  Getting about 9hrs and 20min of battery life.  Will try next with high res files and more demanding headphones.

Disgraceful

Where did you get it from? Does the store accept online order?

Plenue 2 = 158000 JPY (http://www.e-earphone.jp/shop/shopdetail.html?brandcode=000000123582)

Plenue M2 = 75000 JPY (http://www.e-earphone.jp/shop/shopdetail.html?brandcode=000000123582)

The M2 provides a more affordable alternative. Reminds me of Aune M2, which I like. The reviews are saying that the M2 has a high resolution, good ambience/atmosphere and soundstage, well-layered low region, etc. I hope they will be available for demo/purchase at CanJam next year. Considering buying either two.

Anxious to hear impressions. What are you replacing (if anything)? I have wondered if the plenue 2 is to upgrade the s or the p1.

I have Plenue D and Plenue M2 . There is a difference in sound signature in my opinion, small changes in UI due to implementing two knobs . I find this player to be a little brighter in sounding than PM2. i got it today so I didn't have much time to compare but my first impressions are very positive , if somebody have P1 or PS i'm not sure if its worth spending over 1K usd for another DAP with same features - still no wifi, bluetooth ,same battery life etc...

Was told by Singapore distributor, SKM Technologies, that they will be bringing it. Was assured that pricing will be close to US$1,300.

So the price is SGD1799 in Singapore as listed by SKM. Lower than if you buy and ship from Amazon Japan.
Not sure how successful it's going to be with other Korean DAPs like Opus#3 and AK Kann that are priced lower.
