I just got my J3 a couple of days ago as a replacement for my S:Flo2 while it is RMA'd back to China.  I have to say that the J3 is fantastic I love how it sounds with my ES5's straight out of the headphone jack.  With my S:Flo I used my RSA Mustang and loved the sound of that combo as well.  The interface on the J3 is so much nicer and easier to use not to mention the ability to show cover art for my Flac files makes me think this will more then likely be a permanent replacement.

Thanks, at times the S:Flo did drive me crazy.

Yes it does, but you will need to find an adapter for that plug. You could buy a straight to EU plug charger instead.

It only has UK prongs, so it won't work any place else without adapter prongs.

Also, for a generic USB AC charger it's a complete ripoff, price-wise. They don't even specify how many mA the adapter is capable of delivering. "Official Cowon", my foot.

If you're in Europe, get this excellent 1000mA Soshine charger: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.2381
If you're in the US, get this: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.2379
If you're in the UK, get this: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.2380

I have several of those, they work better than some stuff I can get locally, that costs five times as much.

Your tshirt.

1+

Never cleaned the J3 but recently I took a rag and some soap....on the S9 and went to work. On things like this there's no miracle chemical solution your t-shirt will work. If you spill something that sticks and your t-shirt appears unreliable the same soap you use to wash your body will clean off your screen. If you use the same quantity you might not have your J3 any more

How do I get Kizune's Aero Music to work?  I D/L'd the latest (1/15/2011) version, unzipped the file, and placed the contents (not the unzipped folder, but everything in it...the four flash objects, plus the "aero music" folder and contents) into the FlashUI folder.  I rebooted the device, and all I get is a black screen when I hit the music icon.  I can play music with the buttons, but the screen is just blank.  What did I do wrong?

Thanks Kizune!  I'll check it out and let you know if I have any probs.

Hmmm...I still can't get it to work right.  It's ONLY in landscape mode, and I can't get to any other screen (other than dragging the album art icon and having it in the middle or to the left).  No home screen, no settings, anything.  Argh.

That's what I'm saying though...it's "stuck" in landscape mode.  I can't get it to rotate at all, and no matter what position the J3 is in when it starts up or when music is selected, it starts landscape.

Sorry, I thought with "it's ONLY in landscape mode" you meant the problems of not having a home screen etc.

Slide the bottom bar (below the seekbar) to any side to see the other options. Then check please whether the g-sensor mode is set to 'tilt'. There are three pages so you may have to slide twice until you see the g-sensor icon.
