can't you make it shorter, i place my fiio x5 on top of hugo so i need a very very short cable

Im choosing between dx90 and x5 to feat hugo....anyone experience with both,i strongly believe there will be differences in sq,big or small.

The Hugo sounded fine from the X5, which was a surprise. I usually don't have faith in using a TS connector for S/PDIF as it is far from 75 Ohms. Once I'm back home I'll sit down and have a listen with every input using all the sources and cables I have and see how I feel about the sound with all of them.
 
So far though, nothing has been bad.

^That is how I feel about Hugo... regardless of source, cable, amp, iem, headphones.  This is a new experience for me as with my other gears I would general have preferences on what pairs well with what.  Everything seems to pair well with Hugo.

No I think that is not true the fewer a battery cycles the safer it is providing it is not being kept at a voltage below 4.2 volts the batteries will be okay

Sorry for my silly question,but i wonder which dap/portable device has a decent coax out to feat hugo??
How is the fiio x5/dx90 feated to hugo by coax out,anyone experience it??

Sorry if I'm posting too late for relivancy, but I have used it with the x5.   Smooooth.  Although I find the X5 quite good in it's own right, I'd bring the hugo along with me on a longer trip or vacation.  Used with Co-ax, of course.

Sorry, I should have quoted Phil W's post of (8675309) or whatever the number in his post.  I'D like to pick up one of his co-ax cords for the X5 when ready.  Numbers yust ain't no good fore me.
