Thanks. Just to clarify- how is GoFigure ‘once again’ delayed by Apple?

Apparently Chord pulled the original app submission due to firmware issues, so how were Apple to blame then?

I just think this is still being misleading.

Also, for the last couple of years App Store approval times have been:

Within 24 hours: 50% of submissions
Within 48 hours: 90% of submissions

Approval times were long early on but this just isn’t the fact anymore.

Again, it’s pretty misleading to state that App Store approval times are ‘long’.

App approval times based on submissions in the last 14 days:
http://appreviewtimes.com/

Here you can see (based on actual data) approval times have been 2 days over the last couple of weeks.

Alternatively you insert a comma "," after again, and his sentence no longer offends you.

A bag like this is just big enough for either:
  • a Hugo 2
  • Mojo + iems + shanling M1
so I suspect that you could get a mojo + poly in there, but it would be wise to measure first
Nice looking bag!

Yeah I guess I have a few options that I had considered:
* Manbag
* belt bag
* some sort of lanyard?
* stick it in my existing rucksack and deal with cable flying everytime I fling it over my shoulder

I do like a manbag!

I don't know if I missed something earlier in the operation of my Poly.

I've just discovered that I can use my Android phone with the M.A.L.P. app to control the SD card in my Poly without switching from Roon mode to other. This works both on WiFi and using my phone hotspot. Up til now I've been using the dreaded pin to switch to "Other" mode on Poly when I go out. Only the MALP app (not BubbleUPNP) works when leaving it in Roon Mode. This is awesome as I don't need to change modes when going out.

Yes there are quite a few options.
With bags, you can get really cheap ones made from cloth, a lowish price bag like that in leather, or there are plenty of more expensive bags, where you are going to be paying an extra £50+ just for the fashion label.

* A way of carrying poly that is not just in a pocket. The UK's 3 weeks of summer is only 4 months away and for those 3 weeks I wont have a jacket pocket to carry mojopoloy in... 1st world problems

I posted this a while back, but it has proven to be a good solution, when jacketless, as long as you are not pantsless also:

I was wondering, those who have poly and a hugo2.

Do you think using a usb cable to connect poly to hugo2’s usb data port would work ?

If it did work, we could save a good whack of money by not buying a 2go, could it really be as simple as hooking up polys usb port to hugos with a female to male cable, basically emulating the way poly and mojo mate but using 1 or two cables instead of polys sticking out usb ports.

Anyone tried it to see of it works ?

What if Apple can't get the Poly to power on?

Had my first Poly failure to power on today. I unplugged the Mojo put the Poly on the charger for a minute, it worked after that. It was a bad Poly day. I had to connect to 8Player Pro (which kept dropping then restarting) before I could get Glider to connect. It really sucks when you are afraid to to pause your music. Polly has been flawless at home on Roon I must say.

The update 1.17 helped my power on issuei
The disconnect from network and dlna app is still there. I wonder if that can also be fixed with a software update

Their Facebook page:
“GoFigure Update: We’re aware of some frustrations with the delayed release of GoFigure, the configuration app for Poly. To update you, we expected it to appear on the App Store last week, however, over the weekend, we received a request from Apple to perform a full hardware compatibility review to confirm that it works flawlessly with Poly. We understand that waiting on Apple is painful, but we are committed to bringing this release to you as soon as possible. Please bear with us, as we’re also looking forward to the time when we can bin the pin!”

Here is their Facebook post. Did they miss a comma here, or simply hide behind the App approval process instead of taking ownership for their own mess?? Also- device control apps are ALWAYS tested by Apple WITH the device. They couldn’t do that till Chord finally had a device ready with 1.0.17 and sent it to Apple with the app. When did 1.0.17 come out? Right. It’s like leaving three hours late for work and then blaming the subway for you being late. Go figure.

Yes I'm afraid it's not the most pleasant thread to read.
Some don't care what they type.
This happens mind you when there are many personalities involved and many problems / letdowns persist..
Mostly I just watch/read now and then, unless someone is terribly inappropriate / aggessive and touch a nerve.
On the otherhand there are many nice and extremely helpful people here too. :)

I am very happy to report that after getting my unit swapped out, Poly has been acting in a very predictable and consistent fashion.
Listening to stuff stored on the SD card, while on my home network has been extremely smooth with no interruptions whatsoever. The AK Connect app is so far doing an excellent job, while I came across an issue or two on Glider.

Thanks to the Chord team for sorting me out! @Matt Bartlett

I fail to see how my post is grumpy or antagonistic? My post certainly wan't a personal attack like the reply from headmanPL. Some people should practice what they preach and certainly stop being so hypocritical.

I personally think it is entirely reasonable to question the information we are being given if it appears to be misleading or inaccurate. Especially as we have been let down with constant delays and broken promises for many many months.

I also don't see why it's my responsibility to 'insert a comma' and change the context of someone’s post to make it truthful? I would normally expect this to be done by the original poster, or at least that they clarify their intent if it was written incorrectly and misinterpreted by other readers.
