In a plane en route to NYC with my N6ii and Solaris keeping me immune to outside noise...charging as I go too which is pretty sweet.

Wow that's fighting talk :) . Maybe not for sound but I know what I would prefer to take with me on a hot day when I go out for my lunchtime walk. Horses for courses.
We all know , but in time start questioning , then buy something new. Then we know then we wonder. I had 21 CIEMS . Now settled with the best sound but not the easiest yo use on the go. My "on the go" consist of 3hrs a day on the bus , train and foot.

21, that's quite a few. I do go through different moods where sometime's I prefer a full-size headphone, sometimes an IEM.

The one thing that the N6ii has allowed me to do is at least settle on the source, for my budget its got the best portable sound I have so far experienced and I'm very happy with it. Pair the N6ii with the Fiio FH7 and **For me** I reckon I have perfection.

Everybody else's YMMV applies.

Im in Hong Kong , use public transportation. I coach at various schools. Been doing this for 12 years. Walk 15 mins to a train , standing in the train 40 mins , walking to a bus stop , getting in the bus , walk to school. After leave school go to another school which requires the bus , train ,walk and now a taxi. Afterwards same thing to return home.

The N6II is a great dap. For on the go Im using it more often than the N8 and Plenue L and Hugo 2.

What do you partner your hugo2 with?

A smartphone. I preferred the old Hugo. Easier on the go and slightly more analog sounding. Ifi Bl is as good.

I've almost bought the black label countless times. I'll probably get one at some point. Is it heavy to carry around?
