Can't wait to hear your thoughts!

Definitely.. It'll be a fun comparison.. Solaris SE, Solaris 2020 and Andromeda Gold

Lol, I didn’t even get them yet and I’m looking at cables already. What material type will be better for these? Silver or Copper? Just curious.
OCC Silver or a OCC Copper/OCC Silver Fusion.

I've already done it... Solaris SE all day. :L3000:
I had a slightly different take - slight preference for the 2020, but slight enough that I would only recommend the 2020 over the SE if you don't have the SE (i.e., probably not worth "upgrading" to the 2020 if you already have the SE).
I found the 2020 to have slightly better sub-bass extension (just a bit more rumble), and to have slightly more sparkle in the upper mids; plus, while the fit wasn't an issue for me with the SE, the 2020 does fit my ear better.
But the differences in SQ were not significant.

Yea the difference in sound you mention is true. I do like the treble better on the SE and that extra headspace. Again, if you have one and it fits just keep it.

It's tough now though with the Nio... and then Odin creeping up near fall sometime.
Yes, I am anxious to compare the Nio to the 2020 and U12t...I think I'm 2-3 weeks out, still, from getting the nio unfortunately.
Odin is a little easier for me - I don't see myself plunking down $3k on an IEM, so I'm happy to read everyone's impressions and maybe pick one up secondhand down the road.

Empire ears up coming new totl iem, go over their thread and read all about it
Lol, I’m still waiting for ups to get here with my 2020 Solaris. But, I have a feeling I’ll be going down the same route with the full-size stuff and look to upgrade like a week or two later. Lol, this hobby sucks.

That is the curse of this hobby. Every one of us makes a choice-- do we chase gear forever or learn to be fine without having the latest and greatest. No matter who you are or what you have eventually something better will come along.
