Thought of custom tips?

I have the ADV Eartune Fidelity tips. My Solaris OG was used for the master for these tips. The current version with the large bore hole works great with all three Solaris models, OG, SE and 2020.

They are extremely comfortable and improve the sound significantly over any of the tips I tried. I also like how you can keep the custom tip in your ear and only remove the Solaris when you need it to talk to someone.

It does take a little time to get used to how to insert them. What I find works best is insert the tip and make sure it's fully seated, specially the top part of the tip that fits between the Crus of helix and Inferior crus of antihelix (this picture shows what I'm talking about, https://www.researchgate.net/figure...-Antihelix-3a-Superior-crus-of_fig1_332735738). Then insert the Solaris.

The only downside to these tips is with the OG and SE because they are so large they will stick out a bit more than with the normal tips. The Solaris 2020 doesn't stick out as much.

Does anyone own both Solaris 2020 and BGVP DM6? Mind posting side by side pics? DM6 hurts my ears and I would like to know if Solaris 2020 will fit my weird ear canals.

Just what I needed, thanks very much. Looks like solaris will fit and be more comfy, I think dm6 shape is more custom-like but sadly they are not for my ears.

regarding cable... mine prefer SPC with 8 braids 26 AWG, with Balance connections...

edit: better focus on finding ear tip first that suit you, before cable
