They are CIEMs (custom IEMs), meaning they are fitted specifically to his ear anatomy, based on ear impressions.

Side Note: Just got the NiceHCK ForX cables come in. Didn't really believe in cable upgrades before, but DAMN I am impressed! I ordered the NiceHCK Litz as well but the ForX is definitely a much more noticeable upgrade, sort of felt like DM8 on steroids and it’s definitely a lot less clunky to bring around compared to the included bgvp cable!

This is so much facepalm, ugh.

And then this?! For $349? ....

I like how the foams sound most, between bassies, pinkies and foam. There are some nice mids and tastefully, silky smooth trebles that are impressing me far more than the base on this thing. The sound is on the smoother side of energetic, I'd say, which is a surprise. Vocals sound great. Fit is great so far. The tone is like 'smoothed glass', quite interesting... I am definitely expecting more bass definition & weight, and would probably prefer to hear more hard detail/grit and less smoothness in the treble(unless you want a more relaxed sound, of course. I find these rather sleepy lol). BA's are weird, man :\ The bass on this sounds & feels like it's just a mid-bass woofer. Solid punch, though. I haven't heard BGVP before, so did not know what to expect here.

BGVP DM8 and the E1DA 9038 together sound pretty good! The E1DA DAC makes the DM8 sound much better!

Hi, Would you say the DM7 has a swinging rhythmic sound? Like if you play salsa or even funk that it really grooves. I just got some MSR7s and they really lack in that way compared to my Kz AS10s.
Second, any opinions on pairing with an LG V30? Thanks
