Is that that correct? https://hifigo.com/blogs/news/bgvp-dm8-latest-multi-ba-iem-announced
DM8 will be $349.99? Much better then $500 Also nice to see the TWFK again. If it ain't broke don't fix it but you should implement correctly. TWFK and SWFK can be excellent and compete with the EST. If they put them in right there could be lovely treble and a good value at $350.
So they had the driver in both the Tape and Singer and did a less than ideal tuning job. Tape 2 supposed to be better this time. Doubt it. Shouer is fine but most likely Tape 2 will be low value until discounts and price drops. A bit underwhelming under $200 so far and esp. with that driver.
On a BGVP note. Did we hear this yet. DM8 is the TWFK and SWFK and also HifiGo says A Sonion 38 for the lows and the 23 series for the mids. Nice combo choice. just need the implementation to be done right. maybe a nice color or three as well.
8 each side in 4 pairs from what I read. One of the Sonion 38 series dual woofers, the Sonion 23 dual mids driver, Knowles TWFK and SWFK are the two dual high and high-high armatures. Believe it said 4 way crossover.
I am thinking about getting my self BGVP VG4, and I have read about it online, but can not make up my mind. Could someone that owns them let me know can they be tuned through the switches, to sound on a brighter side? As I own BGVP Zero and CCA CA16 so I have these two for 'veiled' or 'bassy' sound, so I want something to sound brighter, but still have some bass impact. Hope this makes sense thank you all wonderful people in advance for your help
