I don't hear any issues whatsoever at the 8K area, I'm using the 2.5mm balanced plug.
It sounds more clear and refined than the regular cable, surely with more details to my ears.
I also have a silver cable but couldn't really find the time to listen with it.
Soundstage is surprisingly HUGE. I was really amazed when I first got the chance to listen to my music.
It's thicker but extremely soft and relatively lite, without the memory wire.
I'm using small-sized ear-tips which I ordered from the Penon store. Overall they sit in my ears perfectly well.

I’ve already ordered the BGVP 8 core OCC and may consider this cable later on when it’s on sale again. 16 core should potentially smooth out sound even more.
@mr.karmalicious thanks for that. Does the 16 core fit in same case as easily ? Did you notice any further changes in high end using the 16 core (not fully fair as balanced) ?

This 16 core fits, and it actually fits more easily because it's like... it's supple to the point of being outright flaccid. I'm not sure if there's some topological reason for this or if it's just about the materials properties, but the 16-core is supple enough that it's basically floppy. I personally haven't noticed any difference to the high end; i feel like i get a bit better soundstage but i'd be hard-pressed to say much else. (and i assume that's a property of the balanced output)
Right the BA drivers are glued in place so they stay put. No big deal; almost impossible to make glue sit even after it’s squeezed into a small area. I’m sure they are fine, all look slightly different in the glue area.
I got the Moondrop Kanas Pro just now, to compliment the DM6. And MAN do they have different sound signatures. Both are my thing. The Kanas Pro is laid back, delicate, can go high and low, not piercing. The KPE fits my right ear better than the DM6.. stupid ear canal. I am using foam tips. My immediate impression is the sound is far more flat than the DM6. So of course I am gonna use some DSP, add a little sub bass and such. I can turn the KPEs up about 2x in volume compared to the DM6 because the sound sig is so flat. The DM6 pretty much destroys the KPE in sub bass. I dunno why BGGAR though the opposite.
