BGVP discussion thread DM7/ DM6/DMG and NEW BA series

I've ordered from him like 4 or 5 times from his eBay account and site, they always arrive, but they do take a bit of time as they come from Hungary. Like you said, if you bought tracking, you'd be constantly checking, and they wouldn't get there any faster. If that would drive you nuts, I wouldn't go that route.

I just noticed while looking at his site that he now has the Symbio tips available without the foam in them for a cheaper price, called the Symbio W Peel. Thought I'd post that in case anyone was buying the more expensive tips just to defoam them anyway.

Glad I found this thread. I ordered the emerald DM6 from Audio&Video Professional Store on AliExpress -pre 11-11 sale price of $ 153.89.
I have been checking the tracking and it has said nothing for 3 weeks--now I know why.
I have been patient and waiting ----- but in the meantime I have stumbled upon a massdrop that has me debating yet another purchase--even though I keep telling myself--ok,thats it! no more!

https://www.massdrop.com/buy/toneking-t88k-iem

I saw the 5 star review on head-fi----- https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/toneking-t88k.23402/

I am wondering if the T88k may be a "better" iem for me--reading the "concerns" with the high end and mid range----I know it is all subjective--
Has anyone heard both and have an opinion either way?
IF my DM6 cannot be delivered in a reasonable amount of time--I would like to jump on the massdrop T88k price of $ 329---which expires in 4 days---
Might email the DM6 vendor and try to get an answer....
Ungh! Too many high quality products and not enough money and ear time for them all!!!

Have you tried messaging BGVP directly on FB? I message them with my seller and order # and they messaged me stating they shipped my order to the vender for Shipping

Not yet but I suppose I should. Clearly they are overwhelmed by the huge orders they are dealing with---as others have stated--I will gladly wait to get a high quality product---not a rushed and inferior build.
Just am curious about the T88k-----yet ANOTHER iem that looks great---ungh....too much good stuff being produced these days--trying to be selective but always seem to find another iem that I want----

What do you guys think of this comment?

You will find all kind of claims on the internet, but without any proof I believe BGVP here. Why? Because I have the DM6 in my hand and I know how they sound. And they sound fricking amazing. And most of the owners like them.
So - if it is truth, that means the Knowles knock offs are damn good or even better than originals.

look at metallurgical's recent reviews of nicehck m6 and bgvp dm6: http://blog.livedoor.jp/headphone_metal/
to him, m6 is spot on, and dm6 is too thick and dark.
the thickness in these last iems is starting to worry me. audbos p4, tenhz p4 pro, bgvp dm6, toneking t88k.. i understand that some thickness, lush, body, warm, "musicality" (i find this term off to define this sound) can be desirable for some vocals and lows rumble. but please, a hint of it is enough. if over-thickened, it sounds slow, creamy, veiled, dull.
i'd wish to find more 6+ BAs iems in the line of toneking t4 (4 BAs), so clear and resolving. i find their vocals more natural than creamy thick vocals. to me, this is what is nearer to musicality, it's my personal preference.

Just got a QC picture from Audio&Video Professional Store. Looks good. Can't wait to listen to it. The seller said it should go out in a day or two.

Customization is gear panel with clear shell.

You might want to look at the magaosi offerings. They are more mid-focused and might be your cup of tea.

Was it a 11.11 or Black Friday order?
