Anyone recommend a cable down the way hybrid IEM that is L-shaped/neutral FR that is rich/warm and a bit darker..can take a roll-off
in treble also...but no V-shaped or treble-dominant ones as the volume goes up...thaaaanks !
(Something like Tansio Mirai's TSMR-3 Pro with a dynamic in the mix probably....)

The **** (1 BA + 1 DD + 1 piezo) is cable down and somewhat neutralish tuning. It has a treble roll off and some elevated subbass, but generally not as V shaped or bright as the usual CHIFI fare.
And it is $16 - 17 USD, I bought 2 as I liked it for the price. It has great soundstage, clarity, instrument separation.
Only thing is acoustic instruments on it can be a bit artificial sounding in timbre, so not the best option if u are a purveyor of classical and instrumental music. For pop/EDM/rock, I am very happy with it.
In fact the treble is a bit on the dull side without amping as the piezo drivers which handle the treble frequencies require a slight amount of juice. If it is amped, the treble is just slightly north of neutral, but not piercing or harsh.
I don't own many other cable down IEMs though, so maybe the others can chime in.
Yes I have, and owned briefly. I found them to be too bass light, too bright and some vocals needed more thickness in my opinion. Another dissapointing product from the dissapointing Fiio.

I think the Sony XBA-N3 could fit the bill, but it might be a little bassy.
Sony EX800ST is a pure DD and has over-ear cables, treble is not rolled off but also not dominant, and it fulfills the neutral-warmish tuning requirement.
Amen to VS7. It's a very good IEM and deserves a place in OP under 100-150 price bracket. Will try Spring 1 once it's down to $100 price point. It looks like another home run from BQEYZ.
