Please, recommend me an mp3 player for about $100 regarding ONLY the sound quality.
Thank you!

I love my Fuze, but I often have problems with it freezing and having to reset it. My first one actually died on me within a month. Can't really complain much for the price and sound quality it has.

Cowon is the best bet for satisfying sound quality. +$20 will get you an 8gb D2+.

Clip+ by far....

I was skeptical about this little player but so far it has exceeded all of my expectations.

I spent a few hours last night reading up on the Clip + and I don't think I found anyone that said anything bad about it..

I wonder how it compares to my ipod 30Gb video?

I'll tell you this much. The sound out of my Clip+ kills the sound coming from my iPod 5.5G line out.

That's awesome.

I would say soundwise, s:flo2=Clip+ > Sony > iPods

To me the s:flo2 was great but due to the battery life issue - I went with the Clip+. Also, the Clip+ is so tinny, it's perfect for portable use.
