Best bass orientated IEM's around $200-300

Everyone seems to have recommended the EX1000 which is meant to be similar in many ways to the 7550? including bass?

Also, it doesn't have to be super strong bass, just at the same or a greater level then the GR07BE.

I  found a decent import deal on the FX700. How do they compare to the 7550/EX1000

Maybe ask ljokerl in his multi iem thread? He have heard them all.

How do they sound with that track?

Sounds good?
They are the best IEM's I've heard. Quite a bit better then my GR07 as well.

The only time i don't like their sound is when a track has a lot of highs, which can be harsh.
This song for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JP8na6tu2Lk

The best thing by far is the soundstage, which is insanely good for an IEM.

Your point is subjective, these highs are the ones heavy-rockers love for "nerve-giggle". At full volume (if it's bigger than the youtube's) it shall be harsh (i suppose more than 100db for me). {108db-13db~95db+5db 'cause i didn't reach limit of harshness still, as a heavy-rocker}.
So it may be a case of sibilance ONLY if you either overdo max volume using an amplifier OR the quality of the product sound is not 10/10.

Wooduo 2 is a beast. Best bass oriented iem for the money. I doesn't sound half as bad with non-electronic music. But for anything with a bassline, the wd2 does deliver nicely.

I suppose treble and mids are lowered if bass is very well...
To be clear, there may be excellent clarity of frequencies, but nobody tells us their loudness is equal.

Such analisys is called "Analisys of frequency response"
BUT, usually manufacturers avoid such detail by informing about SPL - signal-to-noise ratio and frequency response MEDIUM - which is not entirely informing.
