From KMann for UAPP Settings-

To dial in the EQ, please refer to my post: Post #3341
  1. Start with the EQ I posted here
  2. Since you can only enter 6 bands, in the above EQ (EQ-V1) choose bands 1,2,4,8,9,10 (The band numbers are shown above the values).
  3. Enter the Gain, Frequency and Q values in Tone booster.
  4. For filter type, choose 'High shelf' for bands 1 and 10 in EQ-V1 and choose 'Analog bell' for bands 2, 4,8 and 9
For band 1 also try set Q = 0.7 and move it to Frequency = 100Hz, Gain = -6dB (some prefer this)

Hi lukedss, I am implementing this setting to another 6-band parametric EQ (in the mango player of dx220), but it does not have the "Analog Bell" option. Is "Analog Bell" the same as peak filter? Here are all the filter options available: low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, full-pass, notch, peak, high-shelf and low-shelf. Which one is most similar to "Analog Bell"?
Also the parametric EQ only supports integer gain. Is it ok to set band 9 to +4db and band 10 to +6db?
Thanks,

Absolutely no idea pal, barely managed to get myself set up. I am sure someone with more knowledge will jump on and help. I am now not using any EQ settings, its weird they would all sound great for a few days then sound distorted

Any distortion you may hear is most likely due to digital clipping, if there is an option for pre-amp gain, bring downt eh gain by 3-6dB.

Hey!! no distortion just my hearing it the pleasure of the change wears off after a couple of days and now having no EQ adjustment sounds the best. Weird!

+1

I would like to get cipher cable original and V2 settings to mimic on es100.

Thanks in advance

To make it clearer, the EQ setting on es100 is a hardware-level 10-band graphic EQ with two-level Q factor settings of 0.7071 and 1.4142 (can only be changed for all bands together instead of separately). The band frequencies are 31.5, 63, 125, 250, 500, 1k, 2k, 4k, 8k and 16k. Float gain is supported from -12.0 to 12.0. Currently, you may simply adopt the settings from AutoEQ:

However, I feel V2 sounds better. I am trying to produce a fixed band EQ setting from the parametric EQ setting of V2. Will let you know when I manage to do that.

So it seems that everyone only posts parametric EQ settings. Are there any band eq settings that work for the isine 10?

I have a Shanling M0 and it only has a 6 band eq. Any suggestions? I"m on Android.

I have the Reveal VST for use on the PC.

I use this EQ setting with the balanced out put of my Shanling M5s with a little those midification on 1k, 4k and 8k
1k : - 6dB
4k : +6dB
8k: + 2dB
The Shanlng M5s with eq and bakanced output outperforms the cipher with iphone!
But I remember your Shanling M0 does not have EQ?

For fixed-banded EQ setting, I strongly suggest the EQ setting generated using autoEQ and Harman 2018 over-ear curve (rather than the in-ear one). The over-ear settings for both isine10 and isine20 are available. I tried out the setting for isine20 and it sounds better that any other setting I have tried. You can find the settings for isine10 in the following link:

I tried these for the Spotify app, sounds good. Thanks!

The M0 has a 10 band eq.

Tried the band eq on the M0, sounds pretty good. I may tweak a bit. The 4k region is a bit high for my ears. I like them to be a touch higher than the hd650.
