To dial in the EQ, please refer to my post: Post #3341
For band 1 also try set Q = 0.7 and move it to Frequency = 100Hz, Gain = -6dB (some prefer this)
- Start with the EQ I posted here
- Since you can only enter 6 bands, in the above EQ (EQ-V1) choose bands 1,2,4,8,9,10 (The band numbers are shown above the values).
- Enter the Gain, Frequency and Q values in Tone booster.
- For filter type, choose 'High shelf' for bands 1 and 10 in EQ-V1 and choose 'Analog bell' for bands 2, 4,8 and 9
Hi lukedss, I am implementing this setting to another 6-band parametric EQ (in the mango player of dx220), but it does not have the "Analog Bell" option. Is "Analog Bell" the same as peak filter? Here are all the filter options available: low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, full-pass, notch, peak, high-shelf and low-shelf. Which one is most similar to "Analog Bell"?
Also the parametric EQ only supports integer gain. Is it ok to set band 9 to +4db and band 10 to +6db?
Thanks,
