Any idea where we could get this double angled  micro-USB male cable ?  Much more convenient than a strait cable !!

thanks in advance

Unless you plan to perform surgery, they won't be any good for Hugo since its micro USB inputs are recessed

Can anyone from China tell us when we're going to get an updated HibyMusic?

I got the new Hiby, v1.2, but the UI is the same. BTW, I would like to ask the developers to add a software volume control. Some cellphones, e.g. my SGS3 can't control the volume on the app with the buttons.

When is it going to be released?
This one and updated HibyMusic are going to be my favorite!

Should be end of January. If some delay maybe in February, but soon we will get it for sure.

Yes, please save your money and get real good In-Ears with great sound signature and qualitiy. This tiny built-in USB DAC with a cheap dynamic In-Ear is a good gimmick not more.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 on Verizon (SM-T337V, running Android 4.4.4) is confirmed working with JDS Labs ODAC via USB OTG cable without UAPP. (App tested was Gizmo, music streaming app from JRMC). Volume control on tablet does work.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 on Verizon (SM-T337V, running Android 4.4.4) is confirmed working with Meier Audio PCSTEP via USB OTG cable without UAPP. (App tested was Gizmo, music streaming app from JRMC). Volume control on tablet does work. (HibyMusic player popped up on plugin and asked to use device, but I did not actually try it).

Headphone jack on the tablet isn't half bad either.

Cool. I'm going to buy Samsung Tab 4 7 inch. Does it work with Geek Out, Dragonfly, and Explorer 2??

Not sure honestly, as I don't have any of those devices. If the 7-inch Tab 4 is similar in implementation to mine, I'd assume it works with a variety of devices, but I don't know for certain, of course.

One aside: Samsung was, at one point, notorious for using lower quality components in their wifi-only tablets than their cellular-enabled counterparts to cut costs in the unsubsidized wifi-only marketplace. Don't know how accurate or apropos that is in this instance, but it might be something to look into before you buy. Just a thought!
