Me? I may get some 300B luv in the coming months but went in a slightly different direction earlier this summer. If I recall, the 300B was originally designed for cinema in the golden age.
 
I'm now using a Siemens based F2a tube amp (push-pull). Glass which was developed for German cinema in much the same manner the 300B glass was. My monos send 40w per block...

  i saw the specs, looks good. i heard an audio note 2a3 in parallel at an audio show and it was among my favorites at the show.  the 300B set is about 8 watts, the 2a3 push pull i think are 12; the hybrid is a blue circle bc204.

I bet that was a good audio show with audio note there. Nice gear you have there!

Funny...I just ordered an Altec Lansing case for a project myself not too long ago

It's a current driven amp with little gain.  It drives them way better than any headphone amp that you can think of, and better than most speaker amps in it's price range.  

Yup!  The F1 and F1J are capable of up to 20 V peak with as much current as you could ever want.  Current amps are a different animal when it comes to figuring out what it will drive.  Purest, cleanest amp I've heard yet....

Why not? The EF-6 delivers 5 watts at 50 ohms.
