From Alessandro itself. Wasn't that easy, and also not that cheap.

They only send them in exchange against the old systems...at least with the MS Pro.

I'm afraid you have to send the old stuff first.

Here are my first steps to my ultimate Alessandros: MS1000

-ordered Alessandro MS1i
-got two blocks of mahogany wood (10x8x6 cm each) as seen on picture for wood cups
-got spruce wood for distancers

Not much,but that's a start!

Why not much? That's everything you need for a "boutique" MS1K, except Jumbopads.

Jumbo pads are quite expensive...

I said not much because nothing has been done yet...

I don't have a set of bowls to try, so I can't comment on that. but the comfies make the bass really, really forward. They also muddy it up quite a bit.

Bowls & distancers sounds principally quite allright, especially the bass is very tight. As downside, the soundscape effect is only mediocre, and there is some (small) nasal peak somewhere in the mids.

I tried comfies which I didn't like; too boomy bass, muddy etc. Also tried HD414 pads which were decent.Reversed HD414 pads were pretty good actually!
