Altec Lansing inMotion iM716 - BASS????
If you take the pod out and use resistors instead (you can get good bass with 47-56 ohm resistors), the overall sound (including the bass) gets noticeably better. Here's the thread: http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f4/im7...ectomy-200246/ It can be a seal issue as well, I found that I need...- Szat

Amp suggestions for Atrio M5?
I am using Headsix with the Atrios, and like them a lot. The bass is more controlled, the highs are crisper and clearer. To me it adds presence and transparency to the music, with a kind of "layered" soundstage. I also own an IM716, the Atrio hisses less with the Headsix (no noticeable hiss...- Szat

What external power supply should be used with portables, are ordinary switch-mode wall warts enough? Any better than those (except the linear type ones with a transformer) would be considerably higher price. Is it overkill to go for any better than these for a portable amp? I am looking for...- Szat

Does the q-Jays have accurate sound reproduction?
Depends on what you regard as accurate. I had them for a week, they are detailed, but the sound for me was just completely unnatural (painfuly harsh & tiny). Like Shigzeo, I found that an earphone with a dynamic driver usualy sounds more natural to me (they move more air than armature drivers...- Szat

Best iems for me (Money is no issue)
If you're 14 it's quiet common that one side of you (legs, hands or ears in this case) will grow faster than the other but usually it equals out at about 17-18, so you're ears will be about the same size by than probably. You don't necessarily need to go custom, there are smaller tips out there...- Szat
