Sound Card- vs -DAC, what do I need
I would get a nice budget USB DAC such as the EMU 0404 DAC, great bang for the buck, although I think most DACs above $150 pretty much sound the same lol- FarFromCentre

K702: OMG, etc...??
If you buy a new driver and put it in one side, thus creating a direct, unparalled comparision, and you will notice that every headphone does change with burn in.- FarFromCentre

Beyerdynamic DT-880
I do not own any other pairs of headphones besides the DT880, although I bought some K701's, but they have not arrived yet. I bought mine for $250 new and I thought that was a good deal. $150 is an excellent price though. The DT880 is very accurate, nice detail, powerful bass. They really do...- FarFromCentre

DT880 suddenly I hear amazing bass
Yea, if you pair the DT880 with the right amp, the bass is amazing. My Millet MAX provides great bass slam, its so good you can feel the slam if you listen from the outside of the cups .- FarFromCentre

The Loudness War & DT880's >.<
Since the DT880 is such a detailed pair of cans, it does show the flaws in poorly recorded/mastered CDs. I do have some insanely loud CDs that sound off with the DT880's, although it is torlerable.- FarFromCentre

K702 good choice for college dorm?
All open headphones are going to let some sound out, it mostly depends on how loud you listen to music. I bought some K701's that should get here sometime this week as well. I have the DT880, which is an open headphone and it does let out a decent amount of noise. I can hear it from a different...- FarFromCentre

First AKG K701 impressions.
Will a upgraded millet max work well with a AKG K701? I'm thinking it will since the MAX seems like a powerful amp that will drive the 701's well. Does anyone have this combo?- FarFromCentre

Looking For A Turntable ~$100
I'm looking to get into vinyl, I only have a few vinyl records so far, so I don't want to go all out on a turntable (yet... ). I'm looking to spend about $100 for everything (or at least start at $100). I don't really know anything about turntable maintenance, cleaning vinyls, or even how to...- FarFromCentre

Where Do You Get Album Artwork
Unfortunately, amazon's images are always grainy, can that program listed above get the images from buy.com automatically? I remember that online thing that could grab artwork from iTunes, but it doesn't work anymore, I wonder if thats been hacked again?- FarFromCentre

Where Do You Get Album Artwork
Just curious on where you guys get your album artwork for your CD's, I get mine at buy.com, which is normally 500 x 500 pixels. Anybody know a better place perhaps? I can't really scan mine as my scanner is pretty bad and everything it scans looks grainy.- FarFromCentre

ASIO On X-Fi Prelude Not Working..
I got a reply from Auzentech saying that this was a known issue and it will be fixed in a new driver release coming out a few weeks. I guess I'll have to wait until, my new setup still sounds amazing with Directsound anyways .- FarFromCentre
