coaxial vs analog cables (which to run in length)

Sorry if this has been discussed to death...

I just ordered a DA-131 and my two choices are:

Short run of Coaxial (Belden 1694A) and 15ft of Analog RCA cables

or

12 ft of Coaxial and short run of RCAs (2 ft).

Running the signal from my M-Audio USB 24/96 thru the DAC to my Preamp/Amp.

Any worries for running 12 ft of Coaxial? In my current setup I run the 15ft of Analog from my card to the preamp w/o any noticeable issues ("decent" monster cables - I300MKII-6M Interlink 300 MkII)

12ft of cable is fine, I was about to say your good up to about 300 feet (for a digital signal anyway.
