Since it's working fine in USB: did you read the second half of my post? I addressed this. Bluetooth fundamentally limits quality if you're simultaneously using it for the mic and the headset. That quality drop is likely responsible for your problem.

Volume should be able to be fixed in windows dependent on what your chat client is. But a lot of people have problems with the serious directional sensitivity of the mic. For settings see this link...

That's not correct, I use Discord in 7.1ch and have received feedback my mic works just fine. Make sure your devices on both Windows and Discord are set properly and that your settings follow this guide...

I can't confirm this problem, I marathoned some battlefield 1 as soon as I got mine and had no problems. However, can you provide more information? What connection were you using? Are you confident in how well your PC is grounded? Can you try with a different cable and/or a different port?

I believe it's been stated that the quality with bluetooth sources is dependent on the source, not on the setting with the headphone. Make sure your source supports LDAC for hi-rez bluetooth.

  Are you sure about that? I can't imagine it taking nearly that long for something that small to reach thermal equilibrium. Chances are your IEMs get as hot as they're going to get not too long into use.

  Yeah, though I was surprised I had to step a size up. I had medium spinfits but the IEMs were falling out of my head. LZ-A4 really has an odd shape to it. Much more enjoyable now that I don't have to readjust them all the time.
