Sorry for the late reply but yes the isolation is average. I've used these headphones on the bus once. I can hear the loud motor slightly but everything else is gone. No one can hear my music and it was probably at 65% loudness on my ipod classic 7g

Got my Beyer pads in and they are waaaaay better than the cotton mod and my memory foam mod to the pads lol.. This is out of the package too. I'll probably add some cotton in the back of the pads since my ears are touching the driver just a teeny bit.

Pairing it with my intruder does get rid of the edge by a noticeable amount. Hopefully it just needs some burn in as it's quite fatiguing when the spikes do hit but other than that it's nice. Comparing to my m50s it is a definite upgrade but not much of a WOW factor so far.

Just got these in today! First impressions are that the treble and when the vocals hit some high notes it is quite piercing to my ears.

bit late for that but that is definitely a much cheaper alternative. I needed some memory foam anyways for some pillows :P so none shall be wasted! The properties of it are very comfy just worried about sweating.

Those pads can't be shiped to Canada and the official versions cost $70 :/ Hope things turn out well for my $15 mod

I'm the guy who picked those up. I was debating between them, the zmfxvibros, and alpha dogs. Glad I picked these so far. Very excited to hear them and wondering on the replacement pads. Now I need to sell my intruder as I won't really be needing it.. So if anyone is interested!

How would you guys pair another th50rp for gaming? Looking specifically at the ZMFs and Paradox. I've heard great things about how musical the headphones are but I'd like to see if it blends well with my other hobby

What would be a solution to deal with cellphone network (EM) interference? I usually just switch to airplane mode during certain times at work and other times the songs can cover it up.   Any advice would be appreciated!   EDIT: Also I bought a micro to mini usb connector from JDS labs and...

I planned ahead (don't got dimensions though sorry) and bought a maxpedition lp-1 holster (?). It will fit any phone and portable amp/dac with adjustable width and height. Easy on the eyes too!

After much thought between the ZMF mod and Mr Speaker Alpha dogs I believe I am going to go with the alpha dogs. I am looking for a neutral sound with a great sound stage, timbre, and clarity. I also want to use it as a portable and desktop set-up (I have a expansive thread about this before)...
