You have to use KingRoot 4.1 to get Root.   P.S. after getting Root you can install Pocket Skip Track app to skip tracks with volume keys long press.   P.S.S. this is my HUM UI at the moment - Calyx M UI adapted by me for HUM   :)

I expect that you have a problem with flash memory chip.

No way to fix it. This is the built-in functionality of the RKBatchTool.

My mistake.    The correct instruction:   - turn on your DX100 - connect DX100 to PC with USB cable - HOLD volume UP and press once RESET - install Rockchip drivers for new device - flash firmware with RKBatchTool   Just I checked. Everything is working fine.

You have to install Rockchip drivers to your PC in order to your computer will detect the device

you need only 1 click on the reset. the screen should be black

Have you installed manually the drivers from the archive?

you have to turn on your DX100. then HOLD volume UP and press RESET. after that you can connect DX100 to PC

you have to flash a firmware from PC using RKBatchTool
