3.5mm is analog so goes from Mojo 2's DAC to analog and then into Bathys as analog via 3.5 so MUST be analog and how would it go though Bathy's DAC again, I don't believe it could or does? I think it just uses the Bathys amp section and stays analog so the music from the Mojo 2 would sound...

And again this is with Poly so wireless.....

I'm not sure why, maybe golden sound in, golden sound out? I watched/ read every review I could find (dozens) and not one reviewer test using the 3.5mm, they say it's there and moves along.

What I'm saying is I disagree, where did this knowledge come from can you please provide a link? Or is it just your opinion? In my Mojo 2/Poly it sounds better. "shrugs"

I also use the simple USBC cable from my iPhone with no issues.....

Update was quick and easy for me, no differences noticed, apps all still work as before.

Hi when I’m not on the move I am using my Bathys with 3.5mm audio to Mojo 2/Poly and it is the best sound by far to my ears. Anyone else using the 3.5mm connection to a DAC?

Just an FYI to the Poly discussions the last few pages that I have had ZERO issues with mine and love it to death. A Poly 2 withe the Mojo 2 of course would have been the decision Chord should have made. You can't hold back technology for compatibility or worse because you don't "want" to...

I have 6.5.1 and makes no difference. Focal actually sent me a new pair so they are not aware this is a bigger issue and probably with iPhone 15's as my iPhone 13 Pro works fine changing rates.

I sold Celestee's and kept Bathys and Clears, Bathys are close to celestees and way more versitile. Clear is much better in quiet environment though and more comfy.

All I can say is I do not get any static with SD card or AirPlay. Hope you figure it out.

Poly + Mojo 2 is heaven in my opinion.

M1 MacBook Pro had white noise. Sent it back for a FW upgrade. All good since. Always no issues with iPhone/iPad though, just M1 chip.

I use the free Mac app that keeps everything in proper stereo, no issues. No static either. Newish Mac…..

Newer MPD that can read imbedded covers is by far what I want.

Roon, QoBuz and Poly isn’t reliable for me ever. Roon and my hires library works fine. QoBuz app and also MConnect 100% too. I also have very fast fiber. Airplay very stable too. Roon, QoBuz, Mojo 2 without Poly 100%. So it’s something with Roon, QoBuzz and Poly.

No factory reset doesn’t touch FW. It stays where it is at. Only settings are reset to how it came new. 100%. iPhone the same way. You do a factory reset if you are selling. All settings and data wiped iOS version doesn’t change.

Bathys sound and look way better than Momentum’s IMHO

A factory reset will not change your FW version, just settings so easy and safe to try
